Going along with the trend…
Tall and not as tall…
Like many of the Irish technorati, I was at the Irish Web Awards on Saturday night, and I feel I should upload my night, seems to be a popular post lately…
Up there is a picture of me with Damien Mulley, the man of the evening, notice the 10 inch height difference 
The day started out as my usual Saturday, was up at 6:30 getting ready to go to the Royal Irish Academy of Music for my classes…On the train in I rang Enda, who was supposed to be coming up on the train that morning, he told me he wasn’t allowed go, safe to say I was pretty pissed off…
Then on the way home I reach the second stop before mine, and he calls to say he’s allowed go and he can get the train in 45 minutes, I was half happy and half about to slap him down the phone for waiting till I got so close to home to call me…
So I got home, dumped my bag and got the train straight back into Dublin to buy hairspray and a shirt…[talk about vanity >_>]…But I made it in, got my stuff, came back out, had a shower, got changed and hopped on the train for the 5th time that day, got off at Connolly and grabbed the Luas down to Heuston to meet Enda at 6:15…We hopped in a taxi and on the way out noticed Tommy and John Collison, the 2 people we practically spent the night talking with till they had to leave…Then we moved on to Alexia
We were sitting in the bar until Sabrina Dent, her husband and a few others came along and joined us [I felt so known], then we joined the queue to get in with the Collison brothers and watched the Awards hosted by Rick O’Shea, who did an awesome job
Then we just had an amazing night, eating, drinking, photographing, networking, and generally having a good night. Thanks too to Ben Kenealy, that little fucker made the night hilarious [I swear I didn’t back comb my hair =P]
Now I just can’t wait for the Irish Blog Awards on February 21st in the Cork International Airport Hotel, it’s a few days after my mocks end so it’s a great incentive 
Right, I think I managed to squeeze enough links into that post…I think I’m done for my first day of blogging…
